The volcanic nature of the island of Tenerife means that the island has few natural sand beaches. The nightlife here is also much more upmarket. There are all sorts of bars and restaurants here including hip-swaying salsa music, live bands, cover bands and jazz, among the Irish bars and English bars galore. In true Spanish style once the sun goes down the restaurants, the bars and the nightlife comes alive!
